Cave Run Lake

Cave Run Lake is a large reservoir set within forest and bordered by numerous coves along its shores. The body of water provides space for boating, fishing, and other recreational activities throughout its expanse.

The United States Army Corps of Engineers built this reservoir between 1965 and 1973 to prevent flooding in the Licking River valley. The project transformed the landscape and created a new water resource for the area.
