College Hall, Academic building at Michigan State University, United States
The three-story College Hall features brick construction with large windows, laboratories, classrooms, and administrative offices spanning multiple floors.
Constructed in 1856, College Hall stood as the first building in the United States specifically created for teaching scientific agriculture methods.
The building represented a milestone in agricultural education, establishing Michigan State University as a leader in scientific farming instruction.
Located near the center of campus, College Hall contained multiple lecture rooms, a chapel, and research facilities until its demolition in 1918.
Despite its collapse, College Hall remains on Michigan State University's official seal as a symbol of the institution's agricultural education foundation.
