The Demuth Museum displays 42 original artworks and rotating exhibitions in a historic building at 120 East King Street in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
The museum occupies the 1820s residence where American modernist painter Charles Demuth lived and created most of his significant works until 1935.
The permanent collection features watercolors and works on paper that demonstrate Charles Demuth's role in developing the Precisionist movement in American art.
Visitors can access the museum through an archway on East King Street and explore both the art collections and Victorian garden without admission fees.
Each June, the museum organizes a garden tour incorporating the original Victorian garden and twenty local gardens that influenced Demuth's botanical paintings.
