Druidsdream

Druidsdream is a two-and-a-half story stone house in Narragansett, Rhode Island. The building features a cross-gable design with three bays and French doors adorned with iron railings on the upper level.

Joseph Peace Hazard commissioned the construction of this stone residence in 1884 based on instructions he received during a dream. The building was designed by architects Henry Peace Champlin and Alfonso Congdon in the Romanesque style.

The structure combines elements of Colonial Revival and Gothic Revival architecture, designed by architects Henry Peace Champlin and Alfonso Congdon in the Romanesque style.

The property occupies roughly one acre of landscaped grounds with a south-facing facade offering views of the surrounding area. The location on Gibson Avenue provides easy orientation for visitors exploring this historic structure.

Although Joseph Peace Hazard commissioned its construction, he never actually lived in the house, choosing instead to maintain his residence at Hazard's Castle. This surprising fact adds intrigue to the story of how the property came to exist.
