The creation of this aircraft established Ben T. Epps as the first aviator in Georgia, influencing early American aviation development.
The aircraft incorporated a 15-horsepower two-cylinder Anzani motorcycle engine that powered a two-bladed propeller mounted behind the wing.
The airframe utilized scrap timber from a sawmill and cotton fabric covering only the undersurfaces of the wings for its construction.
