Aspmyra Stadion

Aspmyra Stadion is a football stadium in Bodø with four stands and a total capacity of around 8,270 seats. The modern roofed section on the south side provides shelter from northern Norwegian weather conditions.

The stadium was constructed in 1965 and opened in 1966, originally featuring wooden benches, terraces, and a running track. Over the decades, it was modernized and expanded to meet current needs.

The stadium is home to FK Bodø/Glimt and serves as a gathering place for football supporters across the region. On match days, it becomes a meeting point where fans share their passion for the sport.

The stadium sits less than one kilometer from the city center and is accessible by local bus lines 1 and 3. Multiple entry points make it easy to reach from different directions.

In 2006, the playing surface was upgraded with artificial turf and underground heating systems that allow matches year-round even in cold seasons. This technology helps the stadium cope with the harsh conditions of far northern Norway.
