Jørstadmoen leir

Jørstadmoen serves as the headquarters for Norway's Cyber Defense, featuring administrative buildings, training facilities, and historical structures across its expansive grounds.

The site evolved from a training ground for the Oplandske Dragonregiment in the 1700s to a permanent military establishment in 1821, with significant expansion during World War II.

The preserved radio station from 1955 and the depot building from 1893 represent different periods of Norwegian military architecture and technological advancement.

Located 8 kilometers from Lillehammer city center, the base includes modern facilities for cyber defense training, document management, and military logistics operations.

During World War II, the base contained one of Norway's four main camps for Soviet prisoners, with 954 individuals buried at the Jørstadmoen war cemetery.
