Quiapo Church, Catholic basilica in Quiapo district, Manila, Philippines.
The Minor Basilica features a Mexican Baroque architectural design with twisted columns, grand dome, and extensive transept accommodating thousands of visitors.
Originally established in 1588 by Antonio de Nombela, the current structure dates from 1935, designed by architect Juan Nakpil following multiple reconstructions.
The Black Nazarene statue, transferred to the church in 1767, remains the center of extensive religious ceremonies and processions throughout the year.
Located near Plaza Miranda, the church conducts daily masses in English and Filipino, with additional services every Friday for the Black Nazarene devotion.
The January 9 procession of the Black Nazarene draws millions of participants who walk barefoot through Manila's streets in religious observation.

The historical monuments of Manila showcase Spanish colonial architecture and the national history of the Philippines. The city includes 16th-century fortifications like Intramuros and Fort Santiago, Catholic churches such as the neo-Romanesque cathedral and the baroque church of Saint Augustine, urban parks like Rizal Park, and museums depicting local culture. The Chinese district of Binondo and Manila Bay with its seaside promenade complete this architectural heritage.
