Quiapo Church, Catholic basilica in Quiapo district, Manila, Philippines.

Quiapo Church is a Catholic basilica with Mexican Baroque design featuring twisted columns and a grand central dome. The interior accommodates large crowds and displays intricate carvings, ornate altars, and religious artwork throughout the main nave and side chapels.

The parish was established in 1588, while the current building structure dates to 1935 and was designed by architect Juan Nakpil following several reconstructions. The recent design aimed to better serve the growing congregation and visiting pilgrims.

The Black Nazarene statue draws people seeking healing and spiritual help throughout the year. You can see devotees leaving offerings and touching the image as part of their personal spiritual practice.

The church sits near Plaza Miranda and holds daily masses in English and Filipino languages. Visitors should plan for crowded conditions, particularly on Fridays and during special religious observances when devotional services run throughout the day.

The Black Nazarene statue arrived at the church in 1767 and has remained a symbol of spiritual connection for generations. Visitors often speak of unexplained moments of peace or comfort they experience while in the presence of this revered image.
