Sea Life Porto, Public aquarium in Nevogilde, Portugal
Sea Life Porto contains numerous exhibits with over 3,000 marine species, including sharks, manta rays, penguins, and giant turtles in specialized habitats.
The facility established the largest seahorse breeding program in the world, contributing to marine conservation and research efforts in Portugal.
The aquarium provides educational programs through the SEA SCAN application, enabling visitors to learn about marine ecosystems during their exploration.
Located at 1ª Rua Particular do Castelo do Queijo, the aquarium operates from 10 AM to 6 PM on weekdays and until 7 PM on weekends.
Visitors can walk through a glass tunnel containing 500,000 liters of water while observing marine life swimming above and around them.
