The Igreja de Nossa Senhora do Amparo exhibits a rectangular layout with a bell tower attached to its left side, featuring polychrome tiles on its walls.
Between 1288 and 1583, the church belonged to the bishop and chapter of Porto Cathedral, later becoming exclusive property of the chapter until 1833.
The interior walls showcase marble plates and tiles sponsored by António Maria Augusto da Silva, incorporating designs by architect Januário Godinho from Aleluia Factory.
The church welcomes visitors Monday through Friday from 14:00 to 19:00, Saturdays from 15:00 to 20:00, and Sundays from 08:30 to 18:00.
The baptismal font, crafted from Ançã stone in the early 16th century, stands alongside an 18th-century main altarpiece within the church interior.
