Adamclisi Archaeological Museum, Archaeological museum in Adamclisi, Romania
The museum displays Roman artifacts, including sculptures, inscriptions, and household items discovered in the Constanta region of Romania.
Founded in 1910, the museum preserves fragments from the Tropaeum Traiani monument, which Emperor Trajan built to mark his victory over Dacians in 102 AD.
The exhibitions present tools, pottery, and daily objects that reveal the traditions of ancient communities that inhabited the Constanta region centuries ago.
The museum welcomes visitors from April through September between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM, and from October through March between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
The collection includes 48 metopes from the original Tropaeum Traiani monument, depicting detailed battle scenes between Roman legions and Dacian warriors.
