Rajko Mitić Stadium, Football stadium in Autokomanda, Serbia.
Rajko Mitić Stadium is a football arena in Autokomanda, a district of Belgrade in Serbia, where Red Star Belgrade plays its home games. Four covered stands on two levels surround the pitch and offer space for over fifty thousand spectators.
The arena opened in September 1963 and replaced an older football ground that had existed since the late twenties. Over the following decades, many international matches and finals took place here.
The northern section called Delije brings together the Red Star fans, who sing together and wave large flags during games. Their choreography shapes the mood on match days.
Fifteen entrances spread around the building and ease access on match days. Parking spaces stand nearby, and several public transport options stop in the area.
More than ninety-six thousand people attended a Cup Winners Cup semifinal against Ferencvaros in April 1975. That was the highest number of spectators ever recorded at this venue.
