Čukarica

Čukarica is a municipal district of Belgrade that stretches along the Sava River, blending urban neighborhoods with areas of open land and settlements. The territory includes diverse landscapes from developed streets to riverside zones and green spaces.

The area took its name from a 19th-century kafana run by Stojko Čukar. It gained official district status through a local vote in 1911.
