Igora, resort in Russia
Igora is a resort in Leningrad Oblast located about an hour north of Saint Petersburg. The property features forested hills and a lake, with ski slopes in winter and swimming beaches with recreational facilities in summer.
The resort opened in 2006 as a ski destination with multiple slopes and lifts. Subsequently, an ice rink, spa facilities, and additional recreational areas were added, while in 2019 a racing track called Igora Drive was built nearby.
The name Igora comes from Finnish origins and reflects the region's history. Visitors gather here year-round to combine outdoor sports with nature, creating a space where people connect with the landscape and each other through shared activities.
The resort is easily reached by car or train from Saint Petersburg, with well-maintained roads. Different activities are available depending on the season, with accommodations, restaurants, and amenities arranged for comfort and convenience for families and groups.
The zipline at Igora is the longest in the North-West region and provides a thrill ride with views of the surrounding landscape. This attraction stands apart from other activities and often goes unnoticed despite offering an exciting experience for visitors.
