Ardre Church, Medieval church in Gotland Municipality, Sweden
The Romanesque structure of Ardre Church features a tower from 1200, with the nave and choir sections dating from approximately 1250.
The original 12th-century church underwent modifications in the early 1900s when architect Axel Haig transformed the interior with Neo-Medieval elements.
The church contains medieval furnishings including a 14th-century altarpiece, a 13th-century baptismal font, and a wooden Madonna figure from 1500.
The church maintains regular services under the Diocese of Visby and provides access to an adjacent cemetery for the local community.
The Gothic Revival organ, installed during the 1902 renovation, incorporates design elements influenced by medieval French instruments.
