Hedemora Municipality

Hedemora Municipality is an administrative area in Dalarna County, central Sweden, encompassing several small towns and villages connected by roads and local communities. The municipality took its current form in 1966 when the city of Hedemora merged with the rural municipality and Husby to create a unified administration. This combination brought together urban and rural communities under one local government.
