Ljusnarsberg Municipality

Ljusnarsberg Municipality is a municipality in Örebro County in central Sweden, covering hilly terrain with Kopparberg as its administrative center. The territory spans across forested landscape and is cut through by several streams and rivers.

The municipality was established in 1971 through reorganization of earlier administrative areas, following a long tradition of copper mining and iron works. This mining heritage shaped the economic development and settlement of the region over centuries.
