Burapha University is a public higher education institution in eastern Thailand with locations in Chonburi, Chanthaburi and Sakaeo. The main campus sits in Saen Suk, a few kilometers from the coast.
The institution opened in 1955 as Bangsaen Educational College, training primary school teachers. It later gained full university status during the industrial development of the eastern coastal region.
