Khun Han

Khun Han is an administrative district in Si Sa Ket Province in northeastern Thailand. The area covers diverse terrain with agricultural land and mountainous regions near the Dangrek Range.

The district was established in 1958 as a minor administrative division and later upgraded to full district status. This development helped it grow into an important administrative center for Si Sa Ket Province.

The border with Cambodia shapes daily traditions here, where Thai and Khmer ways blend naturally in how people celebrate and gather. You can see this cultural mix in local festivals and community events throughout the region.

The district divides into twelve sub-districts with 145 villages linked by a network of local roads. These roads allow visitors to move around and explore different areas with reasonable ease.

The district sits at about 214 meters above sea level, creating particular conditions for farming throughout the area. This elevation influences which crops grow well and how farmers organize their work.
