The excavation area contains multiple layers of settlements with stone tools, storage pits, and dwelling structures spanning several thousand years of occupation.

Dating back 11,500 years, this pre-pottery Neolithic settlement reveals evidence of early agricultural practices and the transition from nomadic to sedentary lifestyles.

The site contains numerous burial grounds and artifacts that demonstrate the social organization and daily activities of early human communities in southeastern Anatolia.

Researchers and visitors can access the archaeological site through Agil Koyu village, located at coordinates 37.813993, 40.989504 in Batman Province.

The excavations have uncovered thousands of stone pots from the pre-ceramic period, indicating advanced craftsmanship before the development of pottery technology.
