Amcazade Hüseyin Paşa Yalı

Amcazade Hüseyin Paşa Yalı is a waterfront mansion on the Bosphorus in Anadoluhisarı built with classical Ottoman style and ornate wooden decorations throughout its interior. The building spans multiple levels, with rooms arranged to overlook the water and connect the main living spaces naturally.

Built in 1699 for a high-ranking Ottoman official, this structure ranks among the oldest surviving waterfront mansions on the Bosphorus. Its preservation through more than three centuries reflects the importance of such residences to the empire's ruling families.

The mansion shows how wealthy Ottoman families lived through its layout of a central hall, two bathhouses, and a kitchen, each serving different purposes for daily life. These rooms reveal the social customs and domestic habits of the upper class during the Ottoman period.

The mansion is located between Anadoluhisarı and Kanlıca districts on the Bosphorus waterfront, accessible from the water or through neighboring residential areas. Allow time to walk through the multiple levels and take in the views from different vantage points throughout the structure.
