Kıbrıslı Mehmed Emin Pasha Yalı

The wooden mansion stretches along the Bosphorus shore with an elongated facade and multiple sections arranged in a stepped configuration.

Built during the last quarter of the 18th century in neoclassical style, this residence belonged to Mehmed Emin Pasha, a notable Ottoman statesman.

The building represents traditional Ottoman residential architecture with its selamlik reception hall and summer divanhane added in the 19th century.

The structure spans four separate land parcels and features inner walls made of wattle and daub while the exterior uses resinous pine wood.

The German Archaeological Institute Photography Archive contains images from 1962 documenting the architectural details of this waterfront residence.
