Yunlin County Council is the legislative building serving Douliu City and houses both a session chamber and a public gathering space. The facility operates as the seat of local government decision-making and administrative functions for the county.
The council was established on February 21, 1951, as the legislative body representing county-level government. The current building opened in September 2001 and replaced earlier administrative facilities.
The council chamber hosts 43 representatives from multiple political parties, including Independent, Democratic Progressive Party, and Kuomintang members.
The site is easily accessible from the southwest exit of Douliu Station on the Taiwan Railways network. Walking from the station takes only a few minutes and leads directly to the complex.
The current building, which began operations in September 2001, features modern architectural elements integrating local governmental functions.
