Loshan Waterfall

Loshan Waterfall is a natural cascade in Taiwan that drops about 40 meters wide across the rock face. The water forms triangular patterns as it flows down the layered stone surface.

The area has long been shaped by farming, with local families establishing fields and irrigation systems near the waterfall. This agricultural activity formed the landscape over many generations.

The waterfall draws local visitors who come to spend time outdoors and enjoy the walking routes around it. People use this spot throughout the year as a place to connect with nature.

A marked trail starts at the parking area and takes about three kilometers for the round trip. The path is well signposted with regular checkpoints to guide visitors.

The water flows against the slope of the rock surface, creating natural potholes in the riverbed below. This counter-flow generates interesting patterns across the landscape.
