Kyiv National Academic Molodyi Theatre

Kyiv National Academic Molodyi Theatre is a modern theatre building with three performance spaces of different sizes in the Shevchenkivskyi District. The four-storey building on Prorizna Street hosts daily performances across its main stage, chamber stage, and studio space.

The house traces its roots to a theatre group founded in 1917, growing from the work of Les Kurbas. The current institution was established as an Academic Theatre in 1979, continuing the tradition of youth-oriented performance.

The theatre shapes the neighbourhood's artistic life by working with contemporary dramatists and staging plays from around the world. Visitors encounter a mix of classic works and new pieces, many developed through direct collaboration with emerging writers.
