Наталіївський парк

Nataliyivsky Park is an estate park spanning about 50 hectares with diverse tree species including rare Karelian birch and centuries-old oak trees. The grounds contain multiple buildings such as the Transfiguration Church, stables, a manager's house, and a Gothic-style water tower.

The estate was founded in 1884 by sugar industry magnate Ivan Kharitonenko and named after his granddaughter Natalia. Construction continued under his son Pavel, and the Transfiguration Church was completed in 1913 under architect Alexey Shchusev's design.

The Transfiguration Church shows features of Pskov and Novgorod building traditions in its design and decoration. Visitors can see these architectural details in how the facade and interior spaces are shaped.

The park is free to enter and sits about 3 kilometers from the Murafa bus stop on the Kharkiv-Krasnokutsk route. Visitors should wear comfortable walking shoes since exploring the grounds involves moving around on foot.

The grounds feature a Gothic-style water tower and stables along with a manager's house guarded by stone lions crafted by sculptor Sergei Konenkov. These lions represent one of Konenkov's lesser-known works and showcase his skill in figurative sculpture.
