National Nature Park Northern Podillya, National nature park in Lviv Oblast, Ukraine.
Northern Podillya Park extends across the northwest Podolian Upland with hornbeam-beech forests and karst landscapes. The terrain also includes wetland and floodplain areas that shape the park's ecosystem.
A private nature reserve was established in 1886 to protect white-tailed eagle nesting sites in the region. The land later became a national park with expanded conservation goals.
The park hosts several places of worship, including the Church of the Most Holy Mother of God and the Church of Saint Onuphrius, situated within its hills. These structures reflect how communities have long viewed this land as spiritually important.
Several marked trails provide access throughout the park for visitors of different interests. Sturdy footwear and weather protection are helpful, especially in the wetter sections with soft ground.
The park contains an ancient linden tree around 600 years old, showing the long continuity of the landscape. A large glacial boulder known as Great Stone sits within the boundaries as a remnant of the ice age.
