The Museum of Archeology and Ethnography of Sloboda Ukraine houses 330,000 objects documenting the historical development of northeastern Ukraine through artifacts and traditional items.
Founded in 1919 at Karazin University, the museum incorporated earlier collections from 1807, including artifacts from Olvia and the Voronezh province.
The museum presents extensive exhibitions of Bronze Age findings, Scythian artifacts, and traditional objects representing the daily life of Sloboda Ukraine inhabitants.
Located at Freedom Square number 4, the museum opens its research facilities to scholars and maintains regular guided tours for visitors interested in regional heritage.
The numismatic collection contains 40,000 coins and medals, representing one of the largest monetary artifact assemblages in Ukraine.
