Savka House

Savka House is a protected farmhouse with clay walls and thick straw roofing in the village of Novi Petrivtsi. It displays traditional rooms with craft workshops and gardens around the building.

The house was protected in 2004 and preserves the heritage of rural life in Ukraine. This action helped save traditional craft techniques and ways of living for future generations.

The house displays everyday items from past times that visitors can see throughout the rooms. This collection tells the story of how people lived and worked in this place.

Visits must be arranged in advance since the house is only open on weekends with guided tours. Visitors should prepare for a countryside visit with attention to weather and rural paths.

On the grounds, craft workshops operate where visitors can watch traditional techniques like blacksmithing, shoemaking, and pottery being practiced. Alongside these, an old well and traditional beehives function in their original way.
