The Sonyachny Training Center stands as a football stadium with a seating capacity of 4,924 spectators and a grass field measuring 105 by 68 meters.
The stadium opened on September 7, 2011, as part of Ukraine's preparation for hosting the Euro 2012 European Football Championship tournament.
Before its destruction, the stadium served as a training ground for FC Helios Kharkiv and FC Metalist 1925 Kharkiv between 2012 and 2018.
Ukrainian Railways managed this sports facility, which provided professional-grade training spaces and competition grounds for regional football teams until 2022.
The stadium's damaged seating section now stands in Munich as a physical representation of the impact of conflict on Ukrainian sports infrastructure.
