Mala Danylivka

Mala Danylivka is a settlement located in Kharkiv Raion, positioned between Kharkiv city and Derhachi along the banks of the Lopan and Lozovenka rivers. The terrain sits at approximately 138 meters elevation with gently rolling landscapes characteristic of the region.

The settlement was established in 1714 and evolved from a rural farming community into an organized urban-type center with administrative functions. Over the centuries, it became integrated into the Kharkiv administrative system as the region developed.

The area maintains a rural character rooted in farming traditions that shape everyday life, though industrial activity is increasing in the surrounding region. Most residents still engage with agricultural practices or related work despite broader economic changes.

The settlement is accessible through two railway stations that provide regular train service to nearby cities. Visitors should note that local travel within the area relies primarily on walking or personal transportation, as public transport options are limited beyond the rail connections.

In January 2024, the settlement underwent administrative reclassification and changed from urban-type to rural settlement status. This shift represents broader administrative reforms implemented across the region during that period.
