Lewisburg, County seat and borough in Union County, Pennsylvania

Lewisburg stretches along the West Branch Susquehanna River, featuring tree-lined streets and numerous Federal-style brick buildings in its downtown district.

The settlement, established in 1784 by Ludwig Derr who purchased land from the William Penn family, was initially named Derrstown before changing to Lewisburg.

Bucknell University campus integrates with the town structure, bringing educational programs, research facilities, and student activities to the local community.
