Constitution Park

Constitution Park is a public park in Cumberland with multiple recreational areas spread across its grounds. It features two playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball courts, pavilions, a duck pond with a public swimming pool, a craft house, and a museum section displaying historical vehicles.

The park was developed to provide the city with a central space for recreation and community life. The museum section with a train caboose, fire truck, training aircraft, and military vehicle reflects Cumberland's connection to transportation and industry.

The amphitheater hosts open-air concerts on summer evenings that draw people from the neighborhood together. The nearby ballfield is home to the local Little League team and shapes the rhythm of summer months with regular games.

The park has walking paths, dedicated picnic areas, and a craft house used as a children's day camp during summer months. Visitors should know that various sports facilities are available for different activities and the grounds have multiple entry points.

Behind the baseball field sits a Mayor's Monument with an overlook platform where visitors can view Cumberland's landscape from an elevated spot. Many visitors miss this raised vantage point, though it offers a pleasant view across the valley and surroundings.
