Schloss Steyregg

Schloss Steyregg is a stone castle perched on a hill near Linz, overlooking the Danube River and the Northern Alps from the Ötscher to Dachstein mountains. The building contains multiple rooms for events accommodating up to 320 guests, with accessibility features and parking facilities on site.

The castle traces its origins to the Ottokars' era in the 11th century when a fortification first rose on this site. In 1581, Wolfgang Jörger carried out major renovations and added a chapel and library, introducing Renaissance elements that shaped its current form.

The Knights' Hall forms the heart of the castle with its open roof structure and modern lighting, turning it into a lively venue for performances and celebrations. Visitors can directly experience how historic walls blend with contemporary use.
