Theatre Institute Chittagong

The Theatre Institute Chittagong is a theatre education center in Bangladesh's major port city with modern facilities for performances and training. It houses an auditorium, multiple rehearsal spaces, and workshops dedicated to acting, direction, design, and technical production.

The institute was founded in 1948 as part of UNESCO's International Theatre Institute network and became Bangladesh's official representative when the country gained full ITI membership in 1989. This founding connected local theatre to worldwide networks.
