The Zia Memorial Museum contains over 700 exhibits across 12 galleries displaying portraits, personal belongings, and official documents of President Ziaur Rahman.
Built in 1913 as the Old Circuit House, this building became the location where President Ziaur Rahman was assassinated in 1981 by military officers.
The museum contains numerous diplomatic gifts and artifacts that reflect the international relations of Bangladesh during President Ziaur Rahman's governance period.
