World Trade Center Chittagong

The World Trade Center Chittagong is a 20-story high-rise building in Agrabad Commercial Area with three basement levels for parking and storage facilities. The upper floors contain office spaces, conference rooms, and exhibition halls serving various business activities.

Construction began in 2006 and the building opened in 2016 as Bangladesh's first World Trade Center. The project marked a turning point in the local construction industry and its technological capabilities.

The building serves as home to the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry, symbolizing the economic importance of Bangladesh's main port city. It reflects the city's commitment to positioning itself as a regional trade and business hub.

The project was the first in Bangladesh to use modern top-down construction techniques, where the roof is built before the walls. This innovative method enabled faster construction timelines and later became a model for other major projects in the country.
