Jamburi Park, Urban park in Agrabad, Bangladesh.
Jamburi Park is an urban green space in Agrabad featuring a central water body and a walking path that loops through the grounds. The site contains planted areas with diverse tree species and is equipped with multiple entrance points and facilities for visitors.
The site was developed as a park in 2018 after previously serving as Jamboree Math, a gathering place for Scout groups. Local residents had used portions of the land for agriculture before the area was converted into a public park.
The grounds contain 10,000 saplings from 65 tree species, including Sonalu, Nageshwar, Champa, and Radhachura, representing local flora of Bangladesh.
The park is accessible through several entrance points and provides restroom facilities on the grounds. Visit in early morning or late afternoon hours when temperatures are milder and the space feels less crowded.
The grounds were built using raised construction methods to prevent water from pooling, a practical solution suited to the region's wet climate. This design helps the park remain usable and accessible even during heavy rainfall periods.
