Asgar Ali Chowdhury Jame Mosque

Established in 1795 by landlord Asgar Ali Chowdhury, the mosque underwent substantial renovations in 2016 due to population growth and structural requirements.

The architectural design incorporates elements of Mughal style with twenty-four minarets adorning the structure, representing traditional Islamic building principles.

The mosque encompasses seventy shatak of land and includes a separate building constructed to accommodate worshippers during renovation periods.

The modern section of the mosque incorporates water features surrounding its perimeter, creating an optical effect of the structure floating above the surface.
