Carrière de la Gombe

Carrière de la Gombe is a diving center in a former stone quarry near Liège, featuring a clear water lake reaching depths of 30 meters. The facility includes automated air filling stations, changing rooms, and a clubhouse with a detailed scale model of underwater attractions.

The site began as a sandstone extraction area and later became Belgium's largest diving center. This transformation took place following its opening in February 1977.

The diving center draws enthusiasts from Belgium, Netherlands, and Germany, creating an international community of people passionate about underwater exploration.
