Jameos del Agua, Cave and auditorium complex in Haría, Spain

The volcanic formation contains a natural underground salt lake, gardens, swimming pools, and performance spaces within interconnected caverns and chambers.

César Manrique transformed this section of lava tubes from Monte Corona volcano into a cultural center, completing the first phase in 1966.

The subterranean auditorium hosts concerts and performances, utilizing the natural acoustics created by the volcanic rock formations.

Guided tours operate daily from 10:00 to 18:30, with restaurants offering local cuisine and viewing points along the designated paths.

The underground lake houses a population of small white blind crabs, Munidopsis polymorpha, found exclusively in this location.
