Corralejo

Corralejo is a coastal town on the northern shore of Fuerteventura featuring wide sandy beaches backed by protected dunes. The waterfront stretches for several kilometers along the shoreline, creating an open seaside environment.

The settlement began as a small fishing village in the 1800s, when early residents built stone structures near the shore. This origins as a maritime community shaped the town's early development.
