Cala Millor, Coastal resort in Mallorca, Spain.
Cala Millor is a coastal resort on the eastern shore of Mallorca with a long sandy beach facing the Mediterranean. Hotels and apartment blocks line the main road parallel to the shore, while pine trees mark the transition between beach and built area.
During the 1960s, the construction of the first hotel complexes transformed a quiet fishing cove into a holiday destination. Since then, development has stretched along the coast and fundamentally changed the original character of the area.
The name translates to "better bay" in Catalan, reflecting its reputation among early visitors who favored this stretch of coast. Families and older travelers form the core of regular visitors, drawn by the calm waters and easy beach entry.
The seafront path connects the center with neighboring resorts and works well for walks along the water. Most shops and eateries concentrate along the road parallel to the beach, making it easy to reach key spots on foot.
The boundary between Son Servera and Sant Llorenç des Cardassar runs through the middle of the resort, so some streets belong to two different municipalities. Visitors rarely notice this division, as the infrastructure blends seamlessly.
