Sa Font Salada

Sa Font Salada is a small golden sand beach on the Mediterranean coast near Artà, extending roughly 40 meters in length and 30 meters in width. The shoreline forms an intimate cove, with natural rock formations framing both sides.

The beach has remained largely unchanged for centuries, maintaining its natural state without artificial structures or development. This enduring character gives it historical continuity within the region.

A natural freshwater spring flows through the beach into the sea, creating noticeably different water temperatures in certain spots. This rare spring-fed flow is remarkable for the region and makes swimming there distinctive.
