Caló D'Es Cans

Caló D'Es Cans is a clothing-optional beach on Mallorca's eastern coast extending approximately 100 meters along the shore. The seabed transitions from sand to shingle, with rocky cliffs rising on either side of the narrow cove.

The cove has remained largely undeveloped over the decades while many other Mallorcan beaches underwent commercial transformation. This minimal intervention allowed it to retain its unbuilt character and natural shoreline.

Local residents and international visitors share this clothing-optional shore space, creating an environment of mutual respect and acceptance.

Visit in early morning or late afternoon when fewer visitors are present for a more relaxed experience. Access involves a rocky path that requires sturdy footwear to navigate safely.

The surrounding rocky cliffs create a natural buffer that isolates the cove from heavy foot traffic. This geological arrangement means the water temperature often differs noticeably from nearby beaches due to the sheltered position.
