Cala es Matzoc

Cala es Matzoc is a small Mediterranean cove in Mallorca that combines shingle and golden sand along its shoreline. The beach spans roughly 80 meters in length and 100 meters in width, featuring a natural layout with open sandy areas and rocky formations.

This cove has remained in its natural state through the centuries as part of northern Mallorca's protected coastal areas. The absence of development has allowed it to maintain its unbuilt character over time.

Local fishermen use this cove as a launching point for their boats, and their daily routines shape how the beach functions as both a natural harbor and recreational space.

Getting here involves about a 30-minute walk from the nearest parking area, so bring water and food for your visit. There are no facilities or amenities on site, so plan accordingly for a self-sufficient day.

The cove has sections designated for naturists alongside traditional swimming areas, allowing both groups to share the space comfortably. This arrangement is less common on smaller beaches in the region.
