Dubai TechnoPark, Technology park in Jebel Ali, United Arab Emirates
Dubai TechnoPark is an industrial and technology zone in Dubai, positioned close to Jebel Ali Port and Al Maktoum International Airport. It is made up of office buildings, warehouses, and commercial facilities serving a wide range of business sectors.
The Government of Dubai established the park in 2002 to support technology development and international trade. Over the following years it grew into a major hub for companies across the region.
The park is home to a large workforce drawn from many countries, giving the area a notably international feel. Places of worship, schools, and shops are all within the zone itself, so daily life for those based there is largely self-contained.
The zone sits directly between Jebel Ali Port and Al Maktoum International Airport, which makes it easy to move goods in and out. Since it is primarily a commercial area, visitors should check in advance which parts are open to them.
Roughly a third of the total area is set aside as green space, which is uncommon for a zone of this type. These planted areas are spread across the site and soften the appearance of what would otherwise look like a purely industrial landscape.
