Palacio de Capitanía General
Palacio de Capitanía General, Military museum building in Burgos, Spain.
The Palacio de Capitanía General is a building with a stone facade extending across four floors, displaying detailed architectural elements and crafted windows throughout all levels. The interior spans multiple exhibition areas with different collections and ornamental details such as coffered ceilings in the entry hall.
The building was constructed between 1903 and 1907 and served as headquarters for the VI Military Region. During the Spanish Civil War, it played a significant role in the area.
