Palacio de los Condes de San Julián, Baroque palace in Lorca, Spain.

The Palacio de los Condes de San Julián is a palace with a rectangular layout featuring an interior courtyard surrounded by semicircular archways supported by white marble columns. The structure displays ornamental ceilings, arches, and decorative doorways that reflect different historical styles combined into one building.

The palace was built in the 17th century by the Perez de Meca family and received its current name when Antonio Perez de Meca obtained the title of Count of San Julian. The building has undergone changes over time and has been partially restored following earthquake damage.

The palace blends Islamic influences with Gothic and Renaissance styles, visible in decorative details like the ornate doorway with Solomonic columns. Visitors can observe today how these mixed architectural traditions shaped the interior spaces and their ornamental features.

Visitors should expect regular opening hours and can participate in guided tours to explore the rooms and their contents. Some sections of the palace may be partially closed for maintenance, so it is helpful to check in advance which areas are accessible.

The interior rooms contain 18th-century Venetian furniture and Valencian tile floors that still display their original beauty. The chapel of the Inmaculada features wall paintings and an art collection that reflect the family's religious and artistic taste.
